The complex is located off Wood Road just above Base Village. The 136 units are spread over 8 buildings and three tiers. Parking areas and walk-through halls connect the tiers, making every place accessible. The Crestwood went through an extensive exterior remodel in 2005-06 updating the complex with a timeless look with stone, wooden beams, and stucco.

There are 8 different floorplans to choose from to match all needs. The Crestwood also manages the property and the rental management, so it’s easy to reserve another unit for overflow needs.

We loved the location with respect to both the Ski in/ski out capability, as well as being able to walk to the Base Village and the Mall and access restaurants and services at a moment’s notice. Our unit is on the quiet side of The Crestwood but yet so close to the hot tub and the Ski Valet/Ski rental shop.

Similar to the rest of Snowmass Village, Crestwood has been selling rapidly over the past two years. In April 2019, there were 13 active Crestwood listings and only 6 that sold in the past twelve months. As of January 31, 2022, there are 2 active listings and 26 have sold in the past twelve months*. The price keeps increasing due to a lack of inventory, but the complex is significantly lower than the Base Village located next door. Even if the prices were the same, Crestwood buyers only pay a 1% real estate transfer tax at closing, compared to 2% at Base Village.
